Hi folks! It’s September already! Can you believe that? Being Michigan natives, we’re accustomed to seeing the seasons change. But down in here in FL, it’s still hot, humid, and sticky. A Florida native once told us that Florida has two seasons…brown and green. Well, with all this rain we’re getting, it’s definitely the green season. Green’s nice.
It goes without saying, we had an unbelievably amazing and SOLD OUT album release party here in FL in August. Many Thanks to all who came out and joined in on the fun. We couldn’t have asked for a better night and better group of people to spend the evening with. The Hideaway is always such a great venue to perform at and so intimate for listening to live music.
Speaking of music venues, coming up this month we have a few great exciting shows. One of the highlights is the COSMIC AMERICAN FESTIVAL. This Festival is being put on in Winter Haven, FL to benefit The Derry Down (one of Gram Parson’s first live music venues). Check out our calendar for more shows this month. See you ’round the horseshoe!

We’re gearing up for our album release show atThe Hideaway Cafe in Saint Pete on 8/29. We’ll have the full five piece band and we’re so fortunate to have the amazing Will Quinlan & Rebekah Pulley also each doing a set of music for the evening. It’s going to be a VERY cool show, so don’t miss it!
Whoa doggy! Michigan welcomed us with open arms this June & July…from all the way up in the upper peninsula to all the way down to Grand Rapids and Detroit and a fabulous SOLD OUT album release show! We have so many friends and family to thank for the success of this tour for letting us crash at their place, cooking us delicious meals, and supporting us at all the shows. We are EXHAUSTED but in a very, very good way. We’re back on the road down to sunny Florida now, and super excited to continue sharing our new album in August with the Tampa area.
Florida in August is HOT!! We’ll be having an album release show at the Hideaway Cafe in Saint Petersburg and it’s going to be a good one. Get your tickets now, right HERE. Or you can email The Hideaway to reserve your seats. Have a good rest of the summer and try to stay cool!
It’s been such a BUSY spring season for us. We’ve been performing at a lot, writing, and working very hard to promote our new album. Rachel even created a Hummingbirds Store for us! It’s pretty cool and super easy to use. Technology is just amazing these days. (We still have the old flip phone, which works great for making calls, but we may have to upgrade soon…) We want to give a shout out and a thank you to everyone who as already ordered music and SWAG at the store. We appreciate your support of the new album.
A few weeks ago we also got to work with some amazingly talented folks at Pilot Moon Films. Doing a live shoot of some of our songs was FUN! Check out this cool video! If you like this one, check out our YouTube channel for more HERE.
We can’t wait to see our family, friends, and fans in the north! We’re headed back up to our home state for a while this summer. We’ll have shows in the Detroit Area, as well as Grand Rapids & Ann Arbor, and we’ll even be teaching a songwriting course at the amazing Above the Bridge Weekend in the upper peninsula. Hope to see everyone out and about because this weather is just gorgeous.
Peace & love to all and take care of each other!

We’re calling it the “Whitefish & Cherries” tour. We can’t wait to see all our family and friends, and we look forward to making new fans and friends too!
